The Al-Ameen College of law provides hostel facilities on the College campus for students of Law College.
Hostel for men
Rooms: The hostel is in three wings and has 154 rooms: 46 rooms of double occupancy, and 108 rooms of single occupancy.
Facilities: Ample and free parking space for vehicles, basic furniture, hot water facilities, drinking water coolers, wireless internet connection.
Food: Residents can eat in a dining hall of the mess by paying charges on monthly basis.
Hostel for ladies
Rooms: The hostel accommodates 73 students.
Facilities: Ample and free parking space for vehicles, basic furniture, hot water facilities, drinking water coolers, washing machine, wireless internet connection, study room, sick room, TV and newspaper room.
Food: Residents eat in a dining hall of the Ladies Hostel Mess.
Keeping in mind the importance of a well equipped library in a legal institution, the College gives top priority in funding allocations to the Library.
Reading Room: (Reference) Any student member, is allowed to use the entire stock of the library. Each student deserves the right to use the reading room throughout his/her course of studies in the College, provided he/she observes proper discipline and maintains academic attitude. The Reading Room remains open every weekday from 6.00 a.m to 2.00 p.m. Opening Hours may be modified on College Holidays. Strict silence should be kept in the Reading Room. Books are issued on presentation of the Students’ Library Card which will remain with the clerk as long as the book is in use. Books and University Questions issued to the members for use in the Reading Room will not be allowed to be removed outside the Reading Room.
Borrowing Facilities (From Lending Section) Books of this section are issued only to bonafide students of the College whose names appear in the class register. Each member of this section is allowed to borrow two books at a time out of the entire stock. Books reserved for the Reading Room use and reference books will not be issued to any student member.
